We had dinner for the first time at Island Jamz in Keyport tonight and enjoyed our meals and cocktails very much. The food is Caribbean, jerk chicken, crab cakes, rice & peas, backed macaroni (very good), fried plantains, curry meals, oxtail stew, Caribbean veggie plate and more. The owners are originally from Trinidad and super nice. They have a full steel drum set and play on Friday and Saturday nights, starting around 8PM and plenty of room for dancing. They also hire our for weddings and parties.
